We express our sincere farewell to former Mayor, Thomas Menino, a moving mentor, and a great standing citizen that loved and cherished each and everyday of a better life. Mr. Menino was our longest-serving Mayor and died on Thursday October 30, 2014 after battling cancer.
Mr. Menino Loved the city of Boston. To all and any who had come to know him, it is no surprise to those in the city areas and suburbs of Boston had the opportunity to meet him and know him personally.
Mr. Menino was 71, also the 53rd Mayor of Boston, Massachusetts. Before becoming mayor, Mr Menino was a Boston native, member and President of Boston City Council.
Mr. Menino knew of his illness he made the best of his last days with friends and family.
